Refractories for Continuous Casting

Functions of nozzles for continuous casting of molten steel include:
- Oxidation prevention
- Splash prevention
- Prevention of temperature drop
- Facilitation of circulation

We have developed and produced innovative nozzles for over 40 years, since the start of manufacturing of Immersion Nozzles (submerged entry nozzles) in the 1970s, the dawn of continuous casting.

We are proud of contributing to the advance of manufacturing high-grade steel, with various technologies of ours such as:
- Applying erosion-resistant material of zirconia and carbon to the powder line of Immersion Nozzles
- Blowing inert gas to inside bore of Immersion Nozzles
- Applying anti-clogging material to inside bore and ports of Immersion Nozzles

Also, to realize suitable operating conditions, we design and manufacture additional equipment such as a preheater and a dryer for nozzles to meet the customers' demands.
